Hey guys how's it going? Just checked the date of the last blog and ooppss!!! I did say I was going to do better but since then it has been pretty hectic with a back injury (caused while I was sleeping......... yeah that's a real thing!!) it was so painful I was off my feet for a couple of days and the rest was just comical to watch. Not being able to stand up straight is something most people take for granted, well not me not any more!
Then my little dude got sick and when he gets ill it hits him like a tonne of bricks so being Mom took massive priority as it should. He is just better so all is well here at home again xx
And so here I am, back with you all to tell you whats new. Well I have started my own new lifestyle changes. Long term changes that take time to become habit but which are necessary for long term goals to be reached.
I wanted to change my Nutrition up completely as I started to feel the whole wheat issue was an actual issue for me. I have to say, IT WAS! Now that I am wheat and gluten free a lot has changed. For one....... how can I put this nicely...... ok I can't so GAS is no longer an issue AT ALL. Yeah I went there! Seriously I can not believe the difference. For me, it is fantastic and I am delighted to see this change lasting and making me a lot more comfortable. No more bloating, no more lethargy and lots more ENERGY.
Now giving up all things wheat and gluten is not necessary for everyone but if you feel it is something you might benefit from then give it a try for 1 month and monitor the results and you should have your answer. If you have any questions about the process then do not hesitate to ask away.
This little experiment has also meant more energy to get back to training as I am eating more energy giving nutritious food now and my body wants to respond accordingly. It is amazing what happens when you listen to your body.
I have changed up my training, I am doing short bursts of High Intensity Interval Training and I also hope that very soon I will be able to get back to training in the Gym.....I LOVE THAT PLACE.
So that is it from me for now. I will be back hopefully tomorrow with something that I feel is a hugely important topic. Food and everything related to it. If you are interested then check back and have a read... see what you think.
For now, goodnight and thanks for reading.
Catch you all on the flip side
xx
